Role Summary
The Business Operations & Contract Management Intern will support the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of company-wide contract workflows, review processes, and governance structures. The intern will work cross-functionally to help standardize how contracts are reviewed, approved, tracked, and archived. The role reports to both Business Operations and Contract Management.
Reporting Structure
Primary Reporting: Business Operations Secondary Reporting: Contract Management / Contracts Owner Cross-Functional Exposure: Sales, Programs, Finance, Engineering, Quality, Legal
Primary Objectives
Define and document current and future-state contract workflows
Support standardized contract intake, review, approval, and execution processes
Improve visibility, consistency, and accountability in contract handling

Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations, Legal Studies, Finance, MIS, or related field
Strong communication and documentation skills
Attention to detail and structured thinking
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
Preferred Skills
Process mapping
SharePoint or workflow tools
Low-code automation platforms
Basic understanding of contracts or compliance
Success Criteria
Clearly documented contract workflows
Improved clarity of roles and approvals
Reduced contract review friction and delays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the person is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear. The person must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs.
