About Cirrascale

Cirrascale Cloud Services provides high-performance cloud infrastructure purpose-built for deep learning, generative AI, and large-scale AI inference workloads. We specialize in dedicated GPU cloud solutions tailored to the unique needs of startups, research labs, and enterprise AI teams. Our mission is to accelerate AI innovation by combining powerful hardware with white-glove service and flexible, custom-built environments.

Position Overview

The Deal Desk & Pricing Lead owns the commercial backbone of the revenue engine. This role manages the deal desk function for non-standard, complex, and strategic transactions, leads pricing strategy and execution across the product portfolio, and ensures every significant deal is structured for profitability, growth, and revenue quality.

In an AI infrastructure environment, this role is especially focused on the economics of large strategic contracts: deal structuring, OEM cost flow-through, margin discipline on multi-year commitments, and pricing frameworks that balance competitiveness with financial discipline.

This is the foundational deal desk and pricing role in Revenue Operations, reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations with cross-functional partnership across Sales, Solutions Architecture, Legal, Finance, and the broader leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Desk and Commercial Support

  • Own the deal desk function for non-standard, complex, and strategic transactions

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal to evaluate proposed commercial terms on complex deals (multi-year contracts, custom configurations, strategic customer investments)

  • Review deals for profitability, margin performance, revenue recognition implications, and overall financial viability

  • Manage approval workflows for discounts, contract structures, custom pricing, and strategic customer investments

  • Build frameworks that balance growth, competitiveness, and financial discipline

  • Operate as a real partner to Sales: accelerate complex deals rather than slow them

Pricing Strategy

  • Lead pricing strategy across the product line and diversified offerings for the Revenue organization

  • Establish pricing guardrails, discount thresholds, and profitability frameworks for standard and non-standard deals

  • Develop pricing for new products, packaging, and offerings in collaboration with Product and Sales leadership

  • Maintain price lists, rate cards, and discount approval matrices

  • Assess the financial impact of new offerings, packaging changes, and strategic pricing decisions

Pricing Execution

  • Manage day-to-day pricing approvals for active deals

  • Partner with Solutions Architecture on non-standard deal pricing and OEM cost flow-through

  • Build and maintain gross margin models at the deal level, ensuring margin targets are met on each significant transaction

  • Track pricing realization, discount trends, and competitive pricing dynamics

Deal Economics Reporting

  • Produce executive-ready reporting on deal economics, pricing realization, discount trends, and margin performance

  • Translate deal-level financial data into clear business narratives and recommendations for the CRO, CFO, and executive team

  • Partner with the Revenue FP&A Lead on the unified revenue reporting layer; FP&A assembles, Deal Desk contributes deal economics and pricing realization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Revenue FP&A on unit economics modeling

  • Partner with Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture on complex deal structuring

  • Partner with Legal on contract terms, commercial protections, and risk allocation

  • Partner with Finance on revenue recognition treatment of non-standard deal structures

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing, sales finance, or related commercial finance roles

  • Experience in cloud, AI infrastructure, or technology environments strongly preferred

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong SQL and Tableau or Power BI proficiency

  • Experience working with HubSpot; CPQ experience is a plus

  • Strong background in pricing strategy, deal structuring, and gross margin modeling

  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and complex deal structuring

  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to influence Sales leaders on deal-by-deal decisions

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex deal economics clearly to executive stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required

Preferred Profile

  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment with evolving processes and cross-functional ambiguity

  • Able to bridge strategic pricing and day-to-day deal execution

  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to influence leaders across Sales, Finance, and Operations

  • Analytical storyteller who can move from raw deal data to practical recommendations quickly and credibly
