This job involves collaborative design and development of software solutions that meet business objectives. It includes system requirement analysis, application customization, and assisting with software updates. It also involves mentoring junior engineers, ensuring quality with Quality Assurance, and providing technical leadership on routine projects. The job is also responsible for conducting training for application users.
Position: Salesforce Development Engineer 3
Experience: 5 years to 7.5 years

Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, producing scalable, clean, and maintainable code.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development and operations, including Apex, Vlocity/OmniStudio, OmniScript, LWC, Experience Cloud.
Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and production support frameworks.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex codebases and system interactions, ensuring technical solutions align with business goals.
Proficiency in troubleshooting performance issues, integration errors, and multi-system dependencies.
Solid experience with DevOps/CI‑CD concepts and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, Copado, Jenkins).
Ability to architect minor enhancements and recommend platform optimizations.
Strong documentation, estimation, and solution-design capabilities.
Continuous learning mindset with eagerness to adopt new technologies and frameworks.
Lead advanced analysis and resolution of incidents escalated beyond Level 2, ensuring timely restoration of service.
Drive problem management by performing deep root‑cause analysis, identifying systemic issues, and proposing long-term fixes and preventive measures.
Manage stakeholder communication, provide status updates, and align expectations for major incidents, enhancements, and release activities.
Mentor and guide Level 1 & Level 2 engineers, providing technical direction, training, and code/process reviews.
Implement production bug fixes, enhancements, and configuration improvements across Salesforce modules, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
Contribute to release planning, coordinate deployment activities, and ensure error-free execution using DevOps/CI‑CD pipelines.
Conduct thorough post‑deployment checks, ensure service availability, and lead resolution of any issues arising during or after release.
Maintain operational KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive efficiency through automation and process optimization.
Produce high‑quality documentation including RCA reports, technical design notes, and knowledge articles.
Represent the AOM function in technical discussions, audits, and platform governance meetings.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate innovative software solutions that align with business needs
Conducting analysis of system requirements and the customization of applications to ensure optimal functionality
Assisting with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases
Mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and shared knowledge within the team
Engaging with Quality Assurance to verify that software meets technical specifications and delivering high-quality, reliable applications
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in software applications and systems
Synthesizing market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and enhance product offerings
Conducting training sessions for operational staff to ensure effective use of internally developed applications
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
