As our business scales across 27 European markets, understanding the mechanics behind our financial performance and identifying new revenue streams is vital. We need an experienced analytical professional who can translate complex datasets into actionable business strategies and take ownership of high-impact initiatives.
To achieve this goal, we are hiring a Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join our Revenue Intelligence team. In this role, you will act as a key strategic partner to our leadership, working closely with our Head of Revenue Intelligence and Chief Revenue Officer, while collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Management and other teams.
You will focus on dissecting revenue dynamics, building predictive models and developing automated anomaly detection systems to safeguard and boost performance. You will leverage SQL and Python to run causal inference analyses, evaluate pricing initiatives and uncover performance drivers across our e-commerce ecosystem. Beyond technical execution, a key part of your mission will be data storytelling—translating advanced statistical concepts into clear, compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on autonomy, proactive problem-solving and high visibility. You will have the direct space to pitch independent ideas, shape analytical frameworks and immediately influence commercial outcomes in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Monitor revenue and profit trends continuously across diverse e-commerce dimensions.
Build automated detection systems and frameworks to identify performance anomalies, early warning signals and degradation drivers.
Conduct deep root-cause analyses and apply causal inference methods to distinguish correlation from causation in business performance changes.
Quantify factor contributions to revenue shifts and evaluate commercial initiatives like pricing strategies or category launches.
Communicate analytical findings effectively to cross-functional partners and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
Utilize advanced tools, data processing models and modern analytics technologies to enhance team productivity and workflow automation.
Proven experience (5-7 years) in economic analysis, revenue management, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A), ideally within e-commerce, retail or tech.
Academic background in Economics, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
Strong technical proficiency in SQL for advanced data extraction and transformation.
Fluency in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling and analytical processing (e.g., pandas, numpy, etc ).
Solid understanding of statistics, econometrics, time series forecasting, regression and segmentation.
Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to bridge complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive mindset with a collaborative approach and strong problem-solving drive.
Professional fluency in English.
