Role Overview

The Sales Operations function provides analytical, administrative, and operational support to the sales organization. As a Sales Analyst – Data Management, you will play a key role in enabling data‑driven sales decisions by supporting enterprise data solutions, governance, and analytics capabilities.

This role partners closely with Global Technology Services (GTS) and cross‑functional business teams to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable access to high‑quality sales and commercial data, supporting ResMed’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Data Enablement

  • Support Sales Operations activities with a focus on data management, governance, and analytics enablement.

  • Contribute to data acquisition, integration, quality, and governance initiatives to ensure trusted sales and market insights.

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear data and reporting requirements.

Sales Commission Data Support

  • Support data-related activities for the development, implementation, and administration of sales commission and incentive programs, including plans, policies, and quotas.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of commission-related data for analysis and reporting.

Data Access & Security

  • Collaborate with GTS and business stakeholders to support data access policies, procedures, and controls.

  • Assist in defining user access requirements and permissions.

  • Support implementation of data security measures in compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA).

Data Warehouse & DataMart Solutions

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise Data Warehouse and DataMart solutions aligned with business needs.

  • Participate in integrating new internal and external data sources with existing customer and physician datasets.

  • Prepare and maintain data documentation including Data Dictionaries, Source‑to‑Target mappings, and Data Lineage.

  • Support data modeling, integration, and transformation (ETL/ELT) processes.

Data Quality & Performance

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for reporting and analytics.

  • Identify data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Support investigation and resolution of data‑related issues in collaboration with GTS teams.

  • Contribute to performance monitoring and optimization of data solutions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed on industry best practices in data management, analytics, and sales operations.

  • Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance data reliability, usability, and scalability.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales analytics, data management, sales operations, or a related role.

  • Experience handling moderately complex issues requiring data analysis and business judgment.

  • Proficiency in data warehousing technologies (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, AWS Redshift, Snowflake).

  • Proficiency in BI and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Cognos).

  • Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.

  • Knowledge of data access control methodologies and data privacy/security regulations.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience or exposure to Python, ML, or AI.

  • Certification in data management, analytics, or data warehousing technologies.

  • Experience supporting sales compensation or incentive-related datasets.
