The Sales Operations & Commercial Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting cross-border and domestic sales activities by ensuring timely quote coordination, pricing follow-up, RFP tracking, and professional customer communication. This position serves as the operational anchor of the Sales organization, ensuring commercial processes move efficiently and accurately while sales representatives focus on business development and strategic account growth. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL environments and can operate independently with minimal supervision.
Coordinate quote requests with internal pricing teams (cross-border, air, ocean, domestic).
Track pricing turnaround times and follow up proactively to meet deadlines.
Prepare and deliver complete, accurate, and competitive quotes to customers.
Maintain quote log and structured follow-up cadence to support close rate.
Track all RFPs and bids from receipt through submission.
Coordinate required documentation, rate inputs, and submission timelines.
Ensure submissions are complete, compliant, and delivered on time.
Maintain RFP tracking dashboard and status reporting.
Respond to customer emails professionally and promptly.
Review customer documentation (NDAs, onboarding forms, operational requirements).
Serve as liaison between Sales, Pricing, and Operations teams.
Support sales representatives with real-time communication while they are traveling or in customer meetings.
Provide commercial support to field sales team.
Assist with preparation of follow-up emails, documentation, and presentations as needed.
Ensure CRM (Salesforce) accuracy for quotes, follow-ups, and pipeline status.
Support coordination during customer onboarding after award.
3–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL environment.
Strong understanding of cross-border operations (U.S.–Mexico preferred).
Experience coordinating pricing or commercial quotes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish required; English preferred).
Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline.
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
** Preferred Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience supporting manufacturing or cross-border trade customers.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). • Experience participating in formal RFP processes.
