Maybell Quantum is redefining the future of computing. As a venture-backed quantum hardware innovator experiencing rapid growth, we're building technology that will transform industries for decades to come. Quantum computers will be as transformative to the next 30 years as the internet was to the last 30—and our team is creating the hardware foundation to make this revolution possible.
We are seeking Strategy & Operations Associate to join our high-caliber business operations team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives at a fast-growing deep tech startup and work directly with company leadership, including close partnership with our US headquarters, to help shape Maybell Quantum’s strategic direction and growth trajectory.
You will work directly with company leadership to analyze new market opportunities, forge key industry relationships, and build a resilient, scalable supply chain for our groundbreaking technology. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, sharp analytical abilities, and strong communication skills, thriving in a dynamic, collaborative environment where they can drive strategy from concept to execution.
Executive-Level Project Management, Communications & Chief of Staff Support:
Structure and lead complex, cross-functional projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and business teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Develop compelling presentations, investment memos, and other materials for the Board of Directors, investors, and strategic partners to communicate company strategy, progress, and key decisions.
Serve as a primary liaison to US headquarters in a chief-of-staff capacity, keeping leadership aligned on priorities, decisions, and follow-through across locations.
Coordinate executive schedules, meeting cadences, and travel across time zones, ensuring leadership time is focused on the highest-impact priorities.
Proactively identify and resolve cross-time-zone issues, acting as a point of escalation and continuity so work keeps moving outside US business hours.
Prepare briefing materials ahead of key meetings, track action items and commitments, and drive accountability on decisions made by the leadership team.
Corporate & Partnership Strategy:
Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships with industry leaders, research institutions, and key customers to accelerate growth and market adoption.
Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic decisions, including partnerships, M&A opportunities, and new market entry.
Lead due diligence efforts and support negotiations for high-priority commercial agreements and corporate development activities.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning:
Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify emerging trends, threats, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the leadership team.
Partner with the leadership team to define the company's long-term strategic roadmap, aligning product development, commercial goals, and operational capabilities.
Operational Excellence & Scalability
Design and implement scalable internal processes (e.g., OKR tracking, cross-functional sprints, knowledge management) that reduce friction and increase velocity as the team grows.
Identify bottlenecks in the "lab-to-market" value chain, collaborating with technical leads to streamline procurement, supply chain, or rapid prototyping workflows.
Manage critical "special projects" that fall outside the scope of traditional departments, such as office relocations, ERP implementations, or regulatory compliance audits.
Commercialization & Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution
Support the launch of early pilot programs by coordinating delivery timelines, managing customer expectations, and establishing feedback loops between the customer and the engineering team.
Develop and refine pricing models and unit economics analysis for novel technologies, transitioning from theoretical models to actual market-tested commercial frameworks.
Create sales enablement materials that translate complex technical specifications into clear value propositions for non-technical stakeholders and early adopters.
