The Accounts Operations Specialist supports company’s retail sales growth by providing financial, operational, and analytical support to the Sales team. This role ensures that retail partnerships are optimised through accurate reporting, category management, and forecasting, enabling effective sales decision-making and growth strategies.
Support retail sales growth by analysing financial and category performance data
Prepare and share customer contact reports and insights with the Sales team
Assist in category administration including range reviews and product assortment updates
Forecast commercials, stock requirements, and sales for new and existing retail prospects
Provide sales reporting and analysis to ensure transparency on retail performance
Update and maintain sales forecasts according to established processes and timelines
Support ad hoc retail operations and reporting projects as required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in accounts operations, retail finance, or sales support (FMCG or beauty industry preferred)
Proficient in Excel and other productivity tools; experience with Xero or Cin7 or ERP systems a plus
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and solutions-focused, able to work both independently and collaboratively
