About the Role

We're a growing B2B SaaS company hiring a senior, hands-on Revenue Operations leader to own our systems, analytics, and automation stack end to end. You'll inherit a live operation โ€” including Salesforce, commissions processes, and a portfolio of reporting and automation projects โ€” and you'll have the mandate to clean it up, modernize it, and build it into something the business can scale on.

This is a founding-level IC role reporting directly to the CEO. You'll have a seat at the table on how our revenue engine operates, unusual visibility into company strategy, and the autonomy to make architectural calls without layers in between. It's ideal for someone who wants full ownership, direct executive partnership, and is excited to use modern AI tooling aggressively to punch well above a traditional one-person ops function.

What You'll Own

Salesforce administration and infrastructure

  • Full ownership of Salesforce โ€” users, permissions, data model, workflows, automations, page layouts, validation rules, and integrations
  • Lead a focused data hygiene and workflow simplification effort in your first 90 days
  • Build and maintain Salesforce workflows for renewals, stage alerts, Closed Won โ†’ billing/finance sync, and churn warnings
  • Administer the broader GTM stack โ€” including Outreach/Nook, ChurnZero, Rillet, and related enrichment and analytics tools โ€” and own vendor relationships

Automation and integration projects (GTM engineering)

  • Use AI tooling โ€” Claude, Cursor, Clay AI, native CRM AI โ€” aggressively to ship automation faster than a traditional ops team
  • Lead the Renewal Process Automation project โ€” a self-serve customer subscription portal integrated with Salesforce to support auto-renewals
  • Recreate and maintain Clay enrichment workflows for contacts and accounts
  • Automate ICP / TAM enrichment and tagging in Salesforce
  • Automate recurring reports currently run manually

Reporting and dashboards

  • Maintain and evolve core Salesforce dashboards โ€” TAM, Marketing, Expansion Opportunities, CS Segment, and new dashboards as the business requires
  • Build new reporting as the business evolves, including cohort dashboards tracking customers onboarded on new product lines
  • Partner with Finance on end-of-quarter Salesforce/Finance cohort reconciliation and ad hoc reconciliation between Salesforce and other systems
  • Produce the data and analysis that informs CEO, board, and leadership decisions

Commissions

  • Run monthly AE and CSM commissions processes end to end
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate commissions calculation over time

Process, enablement, and ownership transitions

  • Own the tech onboarding process for new AEs and CSMs โ€” tool access, comp letter integration, documentation
  • Take ownership of the full GTM software stack (Salesforce, Outreach/Nook, and others) as admin of record
  • Maintain and optimize ongoing system documentation and operational runbooks
  • Partner with Sales, CS, Marketing, and Finance leaders to translate business needs into systems and reports

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tooling (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Clay) as part of your daily workflow โ€” you should already be using these tools to ship faster; AI Native
  • 5+ years of revenue operations experience in B2B SaaS, with at least 2โ€“3 years as a hands-on Salesforce administrator
  • Salesforce Administrator certification; strong Flow and declarative automation skills
  • Proven ability to clean up a complex Salesforce instance โ€” comfortable making architectural calls on data model, field rationalization, and workflow simplification
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, DocuSign, and CPQ workflows
  • Experience running commissions or equivalent finance-adjacent operations work with accuracy and accountability
  • Strong analytical skills โ€” comfortable building complex reports and dashboards in Salesforce; comfort with SQL or willingness to ramp quickly
  • Excellent documentation habits and written communication
  • Executive presence โ€” comfortable partnering directly with senior leadership, communicating tradeoffs, and owning outcomes
  • High ownership mindset โ€” comfortable being the only dedicated ops person and setting your own priorities
  • Light scripting ability (Python, JavaScript) or comfort pairing with AI to produce working code

Nice to have

  • Experience with billing systems or subscription portal architecture
  • Hands-on Clay experience for account and contact enrichment
  • Experience integrating third-party data sources into Salesforce
  • Previous "first RevOps hire" or founding-ops experience at a Series A or B company
  • Experience with usage-based or hybrid pricing models
  • Familiarity with Metabase, Mixpanel, Hightouch, Census, or similar analytics and reverse ETL tools
